Introduction Les agrumes (Citrus spp.) représentent une culture fruitière majeure dans de nombreuses régions du monde, notamment dans les zones méditerranéennes, subtropicales et tropicales. Cependant, leur production est régulièrement menacée par divers ravageurs, dont les thrips , de minuscules insectes appartenant à l'ordre des Thysanoptères. Parmi les espèces les plus préoccupantes pour les agrumes figurent Scirtothrips aurantii (thrips sud-africain des agrumes), Frankliniella occidentalis (thrips occidental des fleurs) et Pezothrips kellyanus . Ces insectes causent des pertes économiques importantes en affectant à la fois la qualité des fruits et la santé des plantes.             Citrus thrips are small insects belonging to the order Thysanoptera. These organisms generally measure less than a millimeter. Thrips can cause damage to citrus trees by feeding on the tissues, particularly young shoots and leaves. They have been reported as new pests in several countries since 1990 because of the scarring they cause on fruit.
